Legacy: Since 1952, Barclay has focused on producing the highest quality maps of the San Francisco Bay Area. Oriented toward the property concerns of homeowners, realtors, and government agencies, our maps highlight parcels, building footprints, civic boundaries, hazard zones, and the like, with a design clarity and informative presentation unmatched in the industry.
Formats: We publish our maps as atlases (LoCaides), folding maps, or wall maps. City maps focus on parcel data and street right-of-ways; larger-scale county maps feature street centerlines. Our custom maps for commercial realtors are printed in a 2- or 3-panel design that folds to a convenient 8½ by 11 inch format. These are available in print, PDF, or Adobe Illustrator files.
Specialty: We also create maps for School Districts showing school boundaries and attendance areas, police and sheriff maps highlighting beats and precincts. Shopping Center maps point out shopping areas, but also specific types or chains. With our GIS and Illustrator capabilities, we can create a custom work of art with payback functionality.
Content: Data layers across our full line of maps include: parcels; building footprints; ZIP codes; MLS zones; streets, roads and highways; parks, recreation areas, and golf courses; fault, flood, and landslide zones; major landmarks; school district boundaries; and state and county jurisdiction lines (SRA). Commercial Business District maps highlight industrial/R&D, office, and retail areas as well as all major hotels. We publish custom versions of our maps for Sheriff, Water District, City and County, Developer, and Realtor clients. We welcome custom projects requiring a high level of visual design skill.
